01What it does

What Church Safety Toolkit Inc does

Mission

Our vision is to make a global impact by equipping first-line ministries to support church security teams and educating organizations on emergency preparedness.

As stated on its FY2023 Form 990.

Programs

On its FY2023 return the organization reported starting a significant new program.

We held our 1st Annual Safety Summit which brought together attendees from churches and organizations; the summit had safety related sessions and focused time on creating the church's/organization's personalized Emergency Response Plan.

Its own explanation, from Schedule O of that return (Part III, line 2).

  1. Our 1st Annual Safety Summit brought together 34 attendees from 11 churches and organizations. After morning and afternoon sessions on topics such as Safety vs. Security, Risk Factors of Unmanaged Mental Health, Evacuation/Reunification and Pillars of Safety, the churches/organizations had time to work on the template documents in their provided binder in order to create an Emergency Response Plan specific to their church/organization.

1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 1% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

Where its funders are

CHURCH SAFETY TOOLKIT INC draws 100% of its grant income from funders outside Illinois, across 1 state in all.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $16 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
