What Cedar Mills Gun Club does

Mission

To promote shooting sports safely and ethically.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. The Cedar Mills Gun Club board and its members worked in 2025 to support the community by volunteering their time to raise funds for local organizations. We provided space for these groups to hold events and made the range available to them whenever needed. Our club collaborates with the mcleod and meeker county sherrifs departments, as well as the hutchinson police department to serve as a venue for training and meetings. Additionally, local conservation officers from the minnesota department of natural resources conducted regional firearm safety training for youth at our clubhouse and grounds. The club generously donated to various organizations including the mcleod chapter relay for life teams, hutchinson ffa, the deer hunters association, the mcleod and meeker 4-h extensions, and local 4-h clubs. We also hosted several benefit events to raise funds for community members in hutchinson and the surrounding areas. Funds to support these initiatives were raised through our pancake brunches held on the third sunday of each month. We also organized a family fun day in january featuring bingo, door prizes, and a free opportunity for kids to build wood duck houses for their properties.…

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
