01What it does

What Casa Sin Fronteras Inc does

Mission

This nonprofit organization exists to promote human development and community well-being through programs that support economic self-sufficiency, psycho-emotional assistance, and active civic participation. Its actions are grounded in principles of solidarity, collaboration, and the recognition of individual and collective capacities. It is supported by private and government funding.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. We reached over 250 children, 150 parents, and 50 individuals through our CODAMO en tu escuela and Mejor Vida programs, which provide mental and emotional health services. We established partnerships with six schools in the area. Our Emprende Academy program, aimed at young people between the ages of 17 and 35, reached 50 participants, whom we supported through training, mentoring, and psycho-emotional health services as they pursued their goal of becoming young entrepreneurs. To strengthen the organization, we have added the services of a development coordinator, whose role is to increase the organization's sustainability by identifying new funding sources and submitting proposals.

Each line starts at 100 in 2024, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2024, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.

1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 29% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of CASA SIN FRONTERAS INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

CASA SIN FRONTERAS INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 71% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund CASA SIN FRONTERAS INC.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $30k arriving through pass-through sponsors is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
