What Burleson Spartans Youth Association does

Mission

The Burleson Spartans Youth Association (BSYA) is an organization that believes in teaching children to participate in athletics based on good sportsmanship in a safe, fun and productive learning environment. We encourage and promote fundamentals, self- discipline, and self- respect while teaching the children structure, and fair play while reinforcing positive goals. We offer recreational football, flag football, cheer and spring select football. BSYA is registered as a 501-3c non-profit organization established and managed by a group of volunteers from our community. The BSYA believes community support is essential to successfully grow a youth organization such as ours. Our main focus is the children and the lasting affect they can have in our community.

As stated on its FY2018 Form 990-EZ.

Program

The BSYA organization serviced 203 families in the Burleson, TX community by facilitating a youth football and cheer program that participated in the NCT league.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of BURLESON SPARTANS YOUTH ASSOCIATION’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of BURLESON SPARTANS YOUTH ASSOCIATION's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $409 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
