01What it does

What Blake High School Thesbians Booster Club Inc does

Mission

Theater education

As stated on its FY2023 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. Performance/production - the students get to put their knowledge to the test by staging full production and handling all aspects of the performance from being cast, building the set, sewing costumes, working on sound and lighting, marketing and production crew.

  2. Thespian competition - our students get adjudicated at the district and state level. All students have the ability to attend districts, but state requirements only allow us to send 4 acts to complete for top level recognition. While this usually only benefits 10 students, all students have the opportunity to perform at districts.

  3. Education - the goal of the program is to prepare students to pursue their dreams of working in the arts. In addition to honing their acting skills, students learn about marketing, managing the house and finances, costume and set design. All necessary tools and equipment are provided by the program.

The 3 programs described on its FY2022 Form 990-EZ.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of BLAKE HIGH SCHOOL THESBIANS BOOSTER CLUB INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of BLAKE HIGH SCHOOL THESBIANS BOOSTER CLUB INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $1k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
