What Beulah Historical Society does

Mission

The Society's main function is to discover and collect any material which may help to establish or illustrate the history of the area. The Society shall provide for the preservation and accessibility of records and archives of the county, towns, villages and institutions of the area and to undertake the preservation of historical buildings, monuments and markers.

Program

Donation of a physicial property was made to the Society by Vicki Scott. The property located at 8505 Hwy 78 W Beulah, CO is at the entrance to the Beulah Valley. A historical landmark for the Beulah Community. This property is now the Beulah Historical Society home. Housing exhibits of local and historical relevance including exhibits photo archive and book library. Including an outdoor space for member functions and events. Open to the general public at no cost. A quarterly newsletter is published to include historical stories, research, programs, membership and financial information. There were five programs presented on historical people, places and events relevant to the Beulah area. The programs and community activities provide the public with information relative to the mission. The preservation of locations and public outreach include the Good Pasture Point of Interest and Beulah Cemetery. The bi-annual pioneer Beulah Cemetery clean up and maintenance project is accomplished by members and community volunteers. Improving the integrity and accessibility of archives and physical historical locations is the program goal.

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of BEULAH HISTORICAL SOCIETY’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of BEULAH HISTORICAL SOCIETY's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $45 arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
