Azcert's mission is primarily addressed by conducting analyses of data and evidence relative to the safe use of medicines and making the results of these analyses available to the public on its website www.crediblemeds.org. The website hosts a list of drugs categorized by their risk of causing the arrythmia torsade de pointes that serves as a standard reference for many hospital systems and healthcare workers, as well as countless other educational resources and tools for both healthcare professionals, researchers and patients. Currently there over 300,000 registered users of the crediblemeds website with approximately 2,000 users each day, and smartphone app has been downloaded by over 250,000 users. Currently, between the app and the website, there are users from 222 countries/regions.in addition, azcert maintains the website medsafetyscan.org, a risk quantification tool and drug interaction checker that interfaces with the crediblemeds website and patients' electronic health record to advise physicians and pharmacists which patients have the highest risk of torsade de pointes, and recommendations for reducing that risk.
