What Anti-Racism in Action Inc does
Mission
Established in 2020, Anti-Racism In Action, Inc. (ARIA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to combat racism and heal its traumas by producing content that creates opportunities for self exploration through historical, cultural and emotional experiences. One story at a time.
As stated on its FY2021 Form 990-EZ.
Program
In the spring of 2021, we worked with the team at Power Up Your Sun and the creators of The UmoJamz. This collaboration produced a free virtual block party for children and thousands of copies of their book, The UmoJamz Juneteenth, distributed for free! Instilling and promoting cultural pride, self esteem and confidence in our children is our raison d'etre.
The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.
