Concentration
How much of a funder's giving, or an organization's income, sits with a few counterparties.
Concentration describes how unevenly money is spread. For a funder it is the share of grant dollars going to its largest recipients; for a nonprofit it is the share of income arriving from its largest funders.
It is reported as a largest share and a top-three share alongside the effective number of funders. High concentration is not automatically a weakness, since deep multi-year support is often deliberate, but it does describe where a shock would land.
