The Organization serves the following purposes:(a) Initiate and support activities and programs at The University of South Africa (UNISA or University) relating to student access in all regions of the University, including tutorial support, mentorship and integrated learning;(b) Initiate and support activities and programs at UNISA relating to the advancement and improvement of excellent research and innovation in the University and on the African continent;(c) Initiate and support activities and programs at UNISA relating to open distance and elearning, including the provision of electronic facilities and devices for needy students;(d) Initiate and support activities and programs at UNISA relating to long term sustainability of the University through investment in the next generation of academics and researchers;(e) Initiate and support activities and programs at UNISA relating to student funding, including scholarships, bursaries and student exchanges;(f) Initiate and support…
