Funders to approach for Northwest Alano Club of Tucson Inc

Primary Exempt Purpose:Provide facilities for meetings, host or sponsor social, recreational, and charitable activities of Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Alateen, and other 12-Step Groups on a space available basis. We are dedicated to providing a safe location for 12 step groups to meet and host clean & sober social events.Exempt Purpose Achievements:We are open 365 days a year, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We help hundreds of people a week, around 1,800 a month. It is difficult to quantify the number of people who attend our meetings in a given week or month, as they are anonymous. Our top accomplishment is keeping the doors open for the still-suffering alcoholics and other people seeking sobriety and a different way of life through twelve-step groups and support groups. We are confident that our efforts are working because people who have attained sobriety continue to come back for years. In the past year, we have introduced a Hispanic meeting, Al-anon, and other AA meetings. We also have different social events throughout the year, such as Halloween parties, spring dances, and BBQs. Different groups rent the meeting rooms, hosting meetings and potlucks, and BBQs every Saturday night. We have only two part-time employees and the rest are volunteers. There are multiple meetings every day, Sunday through Saturday. Alcoholics Anonymous has 37 meetings, Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families three meetings, Family and Friends of Alcoholics (Al-Anon) and Crystal Meth Anonymous two meetings each, every…
