Funders to approach for International Seamen's Service of Wilmington NC Inc

The mission of the seamen's service center is to minister to the spiritual and temporal needs of the nearly 7,000 seamen who arrive at the port of Wilmington on ships from every corner of the world. This is accomplished by the dedicated serive of our chaplain, staff and thirty volunteers. Our spacious facility, which is located within the confines of the port area, is manned every day that a ship is in port, by the chaplain and volunteers. The chaplain boards each vessel while in port to offer assistance to the ship's personnel. We provid a van service from the ship-side to the center and addital service to and from the wilmingnton area shopping and recreation facilities.
