Our mission is to raise awareness and support for the kathy j weinman shelter, the only domestic violence shelter in st. Louis county page 2 line 28: program service accomplishments: the shelter provided a safe haven for women and children. The shelter also provided case management/advocacy, hours of individual therapy (women and children) and support groups. These women and their children arrive seeking shelter; their safety and well being is our primary concern. Most come to the shelter with only the clothing on their backs. The needs of the shelter are great.
