The mission of the Black Healing Fund is to assist in the fight against the mental health and economic impact of anti-blackness-racism-on Black and Brown communities and to both create and directly support programs as well as individuals prioritizing the continued healing of Black and Brown communities specifically prioritizing Black communities in Snohomish County. Our work is centered on four key pillars: 1. Awareness and Advocacy; 2. Education and Empowerment; 3. Decolonizing Access; 4. Stronger Partnerships. Our major programs are: 1 Chakula Ni Lazma Food is a human right--provide emergency food; Youth Academic and Mentorship afterschool; Mental Health Outreach; Community Engagement; and Housing and Utilities Services Akazu.
