What Zillah Food Bank does
Mission
Zillah Food Bank is a volunteer-run food pantry that aims to provide food to those in need in our community. We receive a state grant yearly to purchase food, but rely on community support by way of donated food.
As stated on its FY2026 Form 990.
Program
Provided essential nutrition to families and individuals in our community by operating a volunteer-run food pantry. Last year, a total of 169,293 pounds of food was distributed, which helped alleviate food insecurity for 7,806 households. Of the households served, 295 were new, demonstrating a continued need for our services.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2018, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2018, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2020 to 2021, from $46k to $64k (+39%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2018 4% · 2021 3% · 2022 90% · 2023 91% · 2024 91% · 2025 92% · 2026 86%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.
99% of ZILLAH FOOD BANK’s revenue is contributions — more donation-reliant than the typical peer (94% for the typical peer).
