The world green building council (worldgbc) is the largest and most influential local-regional-global action network, leading the transformation to sustainable and decarbonized built environments for everyone, everywhere.together, with 75+ green building councils and industry partners from all around the world, we are driving systemic changes to: - address whole life carbon emissions of existing and new buildings - enable resilient, healthy, equitable and inclusive places - secure regenerative, resource efficient and waste-free built environmentswe work with businesses, organizations and governments to deliver on the ambitions of the paris agreement and un global goals for sustainable development (sdgs).

Programs
The world green building council (worldgbc) is a global network who catalyses the uptake of sustainable built environments for everyone, everywhere. Worldgbc works to establish new member councils and has green building councils (gbcs) in around 70 countries in various stages of development. The stages are prospective members, emerging members, and established members. Worldgbc conducts regional seminars to teach gbcs different things such as: organisational structure, officer/board responsibilities, funding opportunities, methods of educating the public on the benefits of green building, etc. Worldgbc has five regional networks which in shared better practices and knowledge in areas like: governance, operations, education, business development as well as policy.
