Mission
Wavefield ensemble is a collectively organized group of musicians dedicated to performing music and creating new artistic work at the highest level, and to actively engaging in educational activities geared toward inspiring the next generation of artists and performers. We aim to collaborate in an inclusive fashion and amplify the voices of a diverse spectrum of composers, artists, performers, and thinkers in an anti-racist environment. Our goal is to share this work as broadly as possible and in so doing to inspire those we contact to a more deeply creative engagement with the world.

The primary purposes of the corporation are:(a) to educate the general public in contemporary classical music and contemporary performancethrough the performances of wavefield of public concerts throughout the united states and theworld;(b) to educate the general public about contemporary classical music and contemporary performancethrough the offering of lectures, master-classes, readings, workshops, seminars and other forms ofinstruction;(c) to sponsor the creation of new musical works, in particular but not limited to the sponsorship ofnew works by composers, writers and artists, to be performed for the general public;(d) to directly engage in the promotion of the arts, generally.
