01What it does

What Valiant Theatre does

Mission

Valiant Theatre tells the stories of real people and historic events marked by courage, valor, and determination. We tell the stories of the valiant to inspire others to live life more valiantly. We pursue this mission through the development and production of original works of dramatic art, consistent with the above description.

As stated on its FY2019 Form 990-EZ.

Program

This was a foundational year for Valiant Theatre. We contracted 40+ artists to participate in our First Annual New Works Festival (produced in 2020). This included the commissioning six original works consistent with Valiant's mission. We also held one fundraising event, which provided the bulk of the necessary funds to produce the festival in 2020. Expenses below are related to the fundraising event, which based on the performances included at the event - from original works consistent with Valiant's mission - also functioned as a program service for the organization. All Valiant's Eve was attended by approximately 100 people.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.
