What University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine Savma Chapter does
Mission
To provide opportunities for california veterinary students to participate in professional development activites beyond the classroom.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.
Program
Ucd svm savma - savma is an umbrella organization that funds all of our student clubs on campus for the purpose of reaching out to all students and promoting unity. Club activities, such as wetlabs and field trips allow students to develop clinical skills and further their interests in the veterinary field. One of savma's greatest expenses is professional development funding for students to pursue externships or any activity that allows them to expand their veterinary education beyond the classroom. Savma supports students through class activities as well by providing start up funds for certain events in each class. Savma also strives to unify students and faculty through events.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2019, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2019, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.

Total assets at each year end, in dollars.
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 1 of the last 2 reported years ran a deficit.
