What Toups' Family Meal Inc does
Mission
To alleviate hunger and transportation insecurities by providing essential nourishment to families in need, with a focus on supporting children and individuals facing food insecurity in orleans parish. Recognizing the profound impact of our work, which (cont'd on sch. O) has included serving over 100,000 meals to date, we are steadfast in our commitment to continue our efforts through various initiatives such as our summer meal program, disaster relief, holiday meal distribution, and community outreach in food deserts.

Program
A passion for helping families in need. Summer 2024, we focused on children who rely on the free/reduced school lunches during the school year, and successfully supplemented 70,500 meals from june 6 to august 16, while they were out of classes for the summer break. Fall 2024 season by delivering 600 pumpkins and 1,200 pizzas on october 5th in what we hope will become our annual pumpkin drive. 1,500 people were fed through our thanksgiving initiative, ingredient baskets delivered allowed our families to cook a full holiday meal to their taste. Continuing to grow with the needs of our community we were able to serve over 1800 new orleanians for christmas dinner.
