What Totus Pro Deo does

Mission

Totus Pro Deo aka all for god is a non-profit transforming teens, strengthening families and communities. We establish comprehensive youth programs that emphasize moral, character, and spiritual development while providing service, leadership, and social opportunities for at risk teens. Our hope youth partner program has an emphasis on establishing parish based catholic youth programs for teens in underprivileged neighborhoods, providing outreach and services to teens and their families. These youth programs provide prevention and intervention, helping teens avoid high risk behaviors such as drug and alcohol abuse, early sexual activity, gang affiliation, etc. Our programs and services are open to all teens.

As stated on its FY2017 Form 990.

Program

We provide transformational teen events to evangelize teens helping them to grow morally, spiritually, and socially. Steubenville san diego is a 3-day conference with estimated attendance of 5,000 and youth day is a one day conference with estimate attendance of 650. Other events include quarterly evenings of area wide youth ministry, youth ministers' conference, and a 3 day young adult conference. We conduct youth conferences to inspire teens to become disciples of jesus christ in active communion with the catholic church. Our goal is teens who want to continue to grow in their faith, to become leaders in the church and their communities, and to be able and willing to share the gospel of jesus christ by offering large, dynamic, faith-filled catholic events, the organization hopes to open the door for teens to experience christ. We are transforming teens and strengthening families and communities through our hope youth partner program. With hope we provide the resources to build dynamic, year-round youth ministry programs in parishes where there is need. Our staff has over 35 years combined youth ministry experience and expertise. We offer training and support for both youth…

02Who funds it

Who funds it, year by year

2017 → 2018: the base held at 1 funder, grant income rose $20k → $50k.

2 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of TOTUS PRO DEO’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

TOTUS PRO DEO leans on a few funders — its largest provides 71% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund TOTUS PRO DEO.

Largest funder’s share by year: 2017 100% · 2018 100% — broadly stable.

“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of TOTUS PRO DEO's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $70k arriving through sponsors registered in 2 states is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
