The Paix Foundation is dedicated to fostering and sustaining collaborative partnerships among citizens agencies and institutions with a particular emphasis on the rich history of the arts humanities and cultural expressions of underrepresented communities. The Foundations charitable purposes include: Developing nurturing and sustaining partnerships through programs that emphasize the history of the arts and humanities of underrepresented communities. Promoting community engagement and public education between underrepresented communities and outdoor areas such as plantations historic sites cemeteries and landscapes that help illuminate their history and heritage. Promoting environmental justice preservation and conservation of historically significant outdoor areas through humanities-based exploration and research.
