What The Learning Jet Inc does
Mission
The purpose of the organization is to help minnesota students succeed in school, mobilize future talent, and cultivate a workforce that is prepared to meet the transportation challenges of the future. The organization shall engage in programs and activities that educate and assist students with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The organization's goals are to increase student proficiency in stem subjects, with an emphasis on females or minority students, and to enhance the teaching of stem subjects in minnesota pk-12 schools.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.
Program
Over the past year, the learning jet has hosted over 1,700 individuals to include grade school through high school girls and boys and several private meetings. Our goal is to give all students, including those with disabilities, the opportunity to learn about stem subjects with an emphasis on aviation and aerospace themes. We have provided the learning jet a boeing 727 and a zenith 601 aircraft for those students to learn and practice their skills toward acquiring their faa certification.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2019, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2019, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $249k to $209k (−16%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
24% of THE LEARNING JET INC’s revenue is contributions — more earned-revenue than three-quarters of its peers (99% for the typical peer).
