01What it does

What The Law Enforcement Action Network does

Mission

Through a combination of public education and grassroots advocacy, LEAN promotes policies and attitudes that protect and advance law enforcement officers and the rule of law.

As stated on its FY2018 Form 990.

Program

Public Education & Media Relations: We seek to educate and inform the public through direct mail campaigns, our website, social media, and by other means and raise awareness of policies that protect our law enforcement officers' personal and professional safety, as well as policies that favor criminals at the expense of the police and the public.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990, which lists programs largest first by expense.

Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
