01What it does

What The Human Fund does

Mission

The Human Fund was established to positively impact the lives of under-served children and to make the arts and culture an active part of children's everyday lives. The foundation will provide funding to programs, which deal specifically with projects that enrich the lives of children in the city of cleveland, with an emphasis on the arts and culture.

As stated on its FY2021 Form 990-EZ.

Program

In 2021 The Human Fund was not able to sufficiently carry out its exempt purpose because the organization had to cancel annual fundraising events due to covid-19. The Human Fund hopes to host fundraising events to raise funds to donate to the city of cleveland metropolitan school district, department of arts education during 2022. The nominal donations received by The Human Fund during the 2021 tax year will be held for future years and combined with donations received from fundraising events when a meaningful donation will be made to the city of cleveland metropolitan school district, department of arts education for its annual performances at the ohio theater in the playhouse square district.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.

Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
