01What it does

What The Filter Project does

Mission

The Filter Project is a parachurch ministry whose mission is to pour Gods love into under-resourced communities through the gift of safe, filtered, drinking water in Kenya and plan to serve into additional countries in the future.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. The Filter Project provides filters to people in Kenya to remove harmful bacteria, protozoa, parasites, cysts, eggs, and microplastics from unclean drinking water. The filter lasts for over 20 years or one million gallons of water and contains no replaceable parts and requires no professional servicing. The Filter Project also provides financial support to indigenous workers who live in the community in which the filters are being placed.
