What The Captain's House Inc does
Mission
The organization provides residential and support services to young adults with learning difficulties
As stated on its FY2017 Form 990.
Program
Captain's house delivered a safe, residential living environment for young adults with learning difficulties, between the ages of 21 and 31 years old, to live together, provide mutual support, and get involved in the community. With the guidance and education of administrators, the organization helped young adults obtain suitable employment, as well as find volunteering and socialization opportunities. The on-site professional service providers facilitated independent living and assisted the young adults with basic skills education. During the year, the organization provided its services to eight residents.
