What Springtime Tallahassee Inc does

Mission

Springtime tallahassee is a civic organization dedicated to the promotion and presentation of our capital's history through the production of an annual community festival.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Programs

  1. The three historical krewes - within springtime tallahassee there are krewes, each represent the three historical time periods of our state's history: spanish (1528-1821), war and reconstruction (1821-1900), and 20th century & beyond (1901-present). Each krewe elects a krewe chief and other officers it deems necessary. Throughout the year, each krewe meets monthly. The krewe develops a closeness and camaraderie among members. Each krewe is responsible for organizing one of the major parties held throughout the year. Every year the krewes rotate the parties for which they are responsible.

How concentrated its funding is

SPRINGTIME TALLAHASSEE INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 98% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

98% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund SPRINGTIME TALLAHASSEE INC.
