Mission
Spark Hope Scar Revision Project connects people struggling with self-injury or scars from interpersonal violence to free scar revision and a fresh start. By linking mental health treatment with scar revision treatment, we restore hope. Despair and stigma are replaced with self-efficacy and a belief that healing is possible. We foster an environment in which individuals believe they can move forward in life with healthy coping mechanisms and renewed confidence.

The organization implemented a multi-channel outreach campaign targeting scar revision medical providers and licensed mental health therapists to identify and enroll eligible participants in the organization's free scar revision treatment program. Outreach activities included direct mailings to medical and mental health professionals, targeted social media engagement, and attendance and speaking engagements at medical scar revision and mental health conferences. As a result of these efforts, the organization provided free scar revision treatment services to 6 program participants during the tax year.
