01What it does

What Silas-S Duck Foundation Inc does

Mission

Our purpose at silas's duck foundation is to provide support to families who are dealing with childhood cancer. We aim to provide, unite, fund and generate efforts committed to the betterment, improvement of those families who are impacted by childhood cancer. We serve this purpose through partnerships and connections achieved online and directly within the community. Our goal is to establish support resources, financial assistance, scholarships and mental health programs for these families who have been impacted directly by pediatric cancers.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. This emergency fund provides financial assistance to newly diagnosed families facing childhood cancer. In the first month of treatment, parents often struggle with overwhelming medical schedules, leading to forgotten bills and essential service disruptions. To prevent this, we offer direct payments to service providers for critical expenses, ensuring stability during this difficult time. Families must apply, and funding is capped unless a dire need is demonstrated.
