01What it does

What Save Austin Now does

Mission

Save Austin Now is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization founded by three austin residents who wish to use this organization to educate citizens about standard of living issues across our city. Our goal is to help educate austin residents about the issues that affect their daily lives: transportation, public safety, the local economy, smart growth, and other issues. We will do this through regular emails as well as a websit and social media posts. We will spread our message through earned media, including local tv and radio.

As stated on its FY2021 Form 990.

Program

Non-partisan public education program to educate the austin citizenry about the issues that affect their daily lives. These goals have been accomplished with the help of 1,600 volunteers. Our efforts include door to door, email, tele-marketing, direct mail, and other social media.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990, which lists programs largest first by expense.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
