The Savannah Traffic Club, Inc. (STC) was formed in March 1995 as the result of the merger of the Savannah Womens Transportation Association and the Transportation Club of Savannah. These clubs roots went back over 20 and 50 years respectively. The Savannah Traffic Club is a non-profit organization open to individuals in the fields of logistics in transportation and supply chain management and related fields. Currently, over 80 companies in manufacturing, shipping and allied industries and southern Georgia colleges are represented by membership in the club. STC promotes education in the field of Logistics in Transportation or Supply Chain Management by awarding scholarships to deserving junior and senior college students or those graduates pursuing higher degrees in the aforementioned fields of transportation. Various fund raisers are held yearly for the scholarship fund. In 2023-2024, STC awarded five (5) scholarships to students at Georgia Southern U
