Programs
General program - our monthly community meal is at the heart of what we do, and the starting point for most everything else. Our weekday hours are open to students and other community members to drop in and enjoy conversation or quiet, tea and chocolate. Sacred Collective hosts a number of campus and community groups, like the transgender advisory committee, jewish seeds for justice, and iowa city action for palestine. Our space is available for events on a sliding scale, so that cost will not be a barrier for gathering for common life. Sacred Collective's chaplain, anna blaedel, supports our community through one-to-one care for students and community members and holding space for group gatherings. They also teach classes on occasion at the university of iowa, and their writing reaches well beyond our local collective.
