Programs
The Healthy Human Race (HHR) is our largest race event (~400 runners) of the year and the club's main source of income. The HHR consists of a Half Marathon, a Half Marathon Relay, and a 5k race. The event includes three $500 charitable donations. In 2025: NAMI; Ronald McDonald House; Rochester Women's Shelter were the recipients of the donations. The club received $4K in sponsorship from Scheels of Rochester for this event and $500 in sponsorship from ActivePT. Included the HHR contractor race director payment as part of the expense to put on this race.

$5,618 spentof which $8,998 as grants13% of program spendingAll-Comers Track Meets were held most Tuesday evenings in June and July for kids ages 2 to 15+ at the Soldier Field Track in Rochester MN. All kids are welcome to participate in the various distance track races (50yds, 100yds, 220yds, 440yds, and 1 mile) and long jump activities. The All-Comers meets have been put on by volunteers of the club for 54 years. Ribbons are handed out to all participants and special ribbons for kids placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their age group for the event. This year, the club had a significant expense ($8,965) in the purchase of new ribbons which are planned to satisfy the need for about 6 years. The All-Comers meets are very much appreciated by the City of Rochester and kids from several neighboring towns also participate.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2018 to 2019, from $88k to $112k (+28%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 3 of the last 9 reported years ran a deficit.
Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of ROAD RUNNERS CLUB OF AMERICA-Rochester Running Club’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of ROAD RUNNERS CLUB OF AMERICA-Rochester Running Club's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $8k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
