01What it does

What Quantum Biology Technology Institute does

Mission

The organization advances the field of quantum biology by conducting scientific research on quantum mechanical processes in biological systems, disseminating findings through publications and educational programs, and fostering collaboration among scientists, educators, and professionals in related disciplines.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Program

  1. Research conducted and resulting publication: we conducted research on the effect of earths weak magnetic field on embryo development for two relevant biological model organisms, namely xenopus laevis (tadpoles) and fundulus heteroclitus (killifish). We produced one extensive scientific publication, currently deposited in the biorxiv. In contrast to previous publications on the subject, ours is the one with both the largest sample size, and most stringent controls.
