What Progressive Pipeline does
Mission
Recruit and train the next generation of progressive leaders.
As stated on its FY2023 Form 990-EZ.
Program
Progressive Pipeline provided long-term career support to more than 200 fellowship alumni who are traditionally underrepresented. The organization supported these students and recent graduates interested in launching social change careers. The organization also helped to identify potential roles that would align with their professional and personal goals, coached them through telling their stories to employers, and offered support and advice as they navigated the job hunt. The organization also developed and maintained a set of written resources and guides to support aspiring early-career nonprofit and social impact staff in expanding their networks, securing employment, and building practices for sustainably and self-care. In keeping with our commitment to building a stronger, more diverse talent pipeline, more than 75 percent of the students who we supported identified as people of color and more than 70 percent identified as women or non-binary.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2019, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2019, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2022 to 2023, from $69k to $60k (−13%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 2 of the last 4 reported years ran a deficit.
