01What it does

What Pierz Youth Baseball Club Inc does

Mission

The Pierz Youth Baseball Club Inc is an organization of parents, coaches, and community members working to promote youth baseball, including local and travel teams, a vfw team, and an american legion team. The ultimate goal is to promote and increase the skill of, and advance opportunities for, youth in the pierz area to play baseball/softball.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. Players pay a fee to play on the travel ball teams, and the organization hosts an annual tournament. These funds are in turn used to provide entry fees into other tournaments, purchase equipment and uniforms for the youth teams, and host skill clinics for youth players. All players are asked to pay a registration fee, contribute time volunteering with hosted tournament, and commit to practice and playing as part of a team. In 2024, there were 81 players from ages 10-14 that participated in the program. There is a recreational program, a travel team program that provides more competition with weekend tournaments throughout the summer, extra practice time, and additional coaching time including a 1/2 day clinic. In 2024, there were 7 teams that participated in 28 tournaments.
