What Oregon Doula Association does
Mission
The Oregon Doula Association serves as a unifying, inclusive, statewide professional organization for doulas. We provide support and resources for doulas. We publicly educate on and advocate for the benefits of doula care.

Program
ODA provides technical assistance to Doulas, guiding them in the process of becoming state registered Traditional Health Workers as well as troubleshooting Medicaid billing processes. Our TA goes beyond supporting the workforce, we also collaborate and partner with Coordinated Care Organizations under the Oregon Health Plan, and other community based organizations looking at best practices for integration of Doulas. This entails annual conferences with CEU's as well as participation in State committees, which may include advocacy for rule changes.
