Oregon Computer Science Development and Education provides education in the field of computer science to adults and students across the state but primarily focus in Eastern Oregon. THE ORGANIZATION MISSION AND PRIMARY ACTIVITIES IS TO PROVIDE EASTERN OREGON EDUCATION IN CODING AND TECHNOLOGY. STUDENTS AND ADULTS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO CODE AND UNDERSTAND TECHNOLOGY SO THAT THE COMMUNITY MEMBERS CAN USE IT IN THEIR FAVOR.

We offered STEM Service Learning and Computer Science programs for 6 weeks during the 2022 summer. The average number of days per week we offered all programs were 5 and prioritized families youths of color youth in rural areas and youth with technical computer struggles. The total number of youth enrolled in our programs was 93 and ranged from all age levels of k-12.
