What Ohio Home Interest Organization does
Mission
Promoting better communication between home and school and to enrich the educational and social experiences of our children. We aim to do this through fundraising, school-wide events and assemblies, support for instructional resources (book room/tech), and field trips.
As stated on its FY2022 Form 990-EZ.
Program
Provide school-wide events and assemblies. Kindergarten Orientation, Trunk-or-Treat, Donuts with Dudes, Teacher Appreciation, 100 Day Assembly, Book Fairs, Santa's Secret Shop, and skating parties. These activities provide for families, 375 students, and faculty/staff.
The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.
The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2020, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2020, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2020 to 2021, from $25k to $21k (−17%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
0% of OHIO HOME INTEREST ORGANIZATION’s revenue is contributions — more earned-revenue than three-quarters of its peers (65% for the typical peer).
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 1 of the last 3 reported years ran a deficit.
