Program

  1. See schedule oNgpf Mission 2030 Fund sprang into action in 2021 with a goal of advocating in state legislatures to guarantee high school students in that state would receive a one-semester course in personal finance. 2024 was a critical year with the largest state, california, passing legislation that met our "gold standard" of a one semester, standalone course in personal finance required for high school graduation. California represents approximately 12% of high school graduates in the u.s. As of december 2024, 26 states comprising 64% of high school students are now guaranteed to take a course in personal finance.in addition, Ngpf Mission 2030 Fund commissioned a study with tyton partners demonstrating the economic impact of a personal finance course. This study has been extremely valuable in showing how personal finance education fosters economic development.
