01What it does

What Natural State Advancement Institute Dba Arkansas Strong Institute does

Mission

Nsai is a nonprofit dedicated to elevating voices of forward-thinking arkansans who want to build stronger communities that come together to make arkansas a more prosperous and equitable state and who want a balanced approach to policy affecting the wellbeing of people's lives as shaped by evidence and results instead of extreme ideology. Nsai's goals are to tell stories of arkansans overcoming challenges in their lives and to educate arkansans about the negative effects of extreme policies advanced by certain individuals and organizations and how these policies will affect the quality of life in arkansas.

As stated on its FY2026 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Narrative and story development: nsai identified, crafted, and promoted compelling stories and narratives that demonstrate how arkansans can come together to build a more prosperous and equitable state, particularly in the areas of faith, parenthood, health, community, and lived experiences. Nsai contracted with individuals to identify and write compelling stories about arkansans building communities to overcome challenges. Nsai disseminated these stories through a website, arstrong.org, owned by its sister 501c4 organization and ensured that the content on such website only contains content appropriate for activities of a 501c3 entity. Content generated and promoted online reached an estimated audience in the tens of thousands through digital and social media channels.
