Program
The Monroeville Area YMCA offers programs that guide youth, enrich families, enhance health, and promote intercultural understanding. Underlying every program is a focus on four core ymca values: caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility. People of all faiths, races, abilities, and incomes are involved in the ymca. The ymca remains consistent with its policy that within available resources no one will be turned away from the ymca program due to the inability to pay the fee. The development of integrated community based strategies for serving children and families is the key to success for the Monroeville Area YMCA. Our ymca provides services to enhance life changing programs for youth, families, and adults living in monroe county. Driving community based collaborative efforts are the local volunteer members who govern the Monroeville Area YMCA and make program policy and financial decisions based on the social needs of their immediate communities. Campaign volunteers at the ymca provide critical fund raising leadership.
