Originally founded in afghanistan in july 2015, the organization obtained its 501(c)(3) status in utah in november 2020 and expanded its operations to california in february 2022, extending its mission of support and advocacy to refugee and immigrant communities across multiple regions.

Lifting humanity has demonstrated substantial impact through a range of programmatic efforts across afghanistan, utah, and california:a. Afghanistan education & humanitarian relief ghazgai high school project: academic coaching for university entrance exam, intensive english instruction, installation of ceiling fans and solar panels, and establishment of a computer lab to serve grades 912, which is still in progress.food aid initiatives: distributed food packages during ramadan 2022 to kabul's orphans and needy families, and in early 2022 provided food assistance to 125 families in both baghlan and helmand provinces winterization support: delivered firewood and distributed winter clothing packages (jackets, blankets, sweaters, socks, gloves, beanies/shawls) to families and orphans in kabul to help them withstand harsh conditions resettlement services (utah): offered translation of documents (pashto & dari), legal aid for afghan parole applicants, assistance with social security and job applications, and hosted a welcoming event with essential items and supplies for new arrivals in salt lake city b.
