Program

  1. Our most popular service is our informational services. In today's rapidly changing regulatory world, operators need to stay informed in order to comply with new laws and regulations. Our members can call us and ask us any legal or regulatory question and we will research the answer for them. Additionally, we send out alerts, newsletters and e-newsletters with any pertinent information that they should know in order to comply with a new law or regulation. The new england food show is our biggest event. It is produced and owned by our partner, the national restaurant association. There is approximately 50,000 square feet of exhibitor space. There are chef demos, educational seminars, and keynote speakers. Government affairs uses a great deal of our resources. There are so many bills that are proposed in a year that could hurt or help the industry. Our job is twofold: to educate the legislators and to educate our members. It's important that the legislators be aware of the effects of their legislation. We do this by meeting with…

From the IRS filings of MASS RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

How concentrated its funding is

MASS RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION INC leans on a few funders — its largest provides 75% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

92% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund MASS RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION INC.
