01What it does

What Los Cerros Academic & Technology Fund Los Cerros Boosters does

Mission

Expanded class funding: To provide additional classes for children in the grades 6 to 8 at Los Cerros Middle School in Danville, California.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. The Los Cerros Academic Boosters Fund is a volunteer run, non-profit (501c3) affiliate of the San Ramon Valley Education Fund, dedicated to enhancing the quality of education at Los Cerros Middle School. One hundred percent of donated funds are used to meet the goal of reducing core curricular class size as much as possible. In 2024-25, the Boosters fund provided 7 class sections and LCMS families raised over $147,000, allowing class size to be reduced by an average of 15%. Without class size reduction, classes would have averaged 35 or more students. The Booster's efforts provide class size of about 30 or less in core critical classes.

2 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of Los Cerros Academic & Technology Fund Los Cerros Boosters’s funders (the co-funder graph). Top 1 of 2 funders by total. Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of Los Cerros Academic & Technology Fund Los Cerros Boosters's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $6k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
