1. BHMG Hospitalists: Hospitalists are a dedicated inpatient group whose responsibilities are to care for medical patients from admission through discharge. Their role is to ensure that communication between the hospital and the PCPs is optimized to ensure that patients receive the best care possible. Brown University Health has more than 80 hospitalist providers throughout our affiliates.

2. BHMG Anesthesiology: The providers of BHMG's anesthesiology practice group provide anesthesia care for adults, children, and adolescents undergoing surgery at Brown University Health hospitals and outpatient centers. The physicians and specialty-trained nurses of this group make up the largest anesthesia group in Rhode Island and bring their expertise from many of the nation's top training programs. Services include preoperative assessments and consultations, state-of-the-art equipment for general, regional, and intravenous sedation techniques, subspecialty expertise in ambulatory, cardiac, neurosurgical, thoracic, vascular, and regional anesthesia, as well as postoperative acute and chronic pain management.

3. BHMG Pediatrics: BHMG's Pediatric practice group is comprised of pediatricians and specialists who provide routine health check-ups, treat illnesses, lead immunization clinics, and staff Rhode Island Hospital's (RIH) pediatric division, Hasbro Children's Hospital (HCH). Operating expenses for this practice group directly charged to BHMG during the fiscal year ended September 30, 2025 represented primarily payroll and fringe benefit expenses funded by RIH.

4. BHMG Psychiatry is fully committed to integrating high quality mental health care with primary medical services at all Lifespan hospitals. BHMG physicians in psychiatry offer behavioral medicine services to help individuals improve health through behavior change in an inpatient and outpatient setting.

5. The BHMG Department of Neurosurgery at RIH offers patient-focused, state-of-the-art clinical care in highly-equipped and modern facilities. Each of BHMG's skilled surgeons has specific neurosurgical subspecialty expertise, including surgery for brain tumors and epilepsy, cerebrovascular surgery, skull-base surgery, radiosurgery, complex spine surgery, and pediatric neurosurgery. In addition to providing care to patients and families from all over New England and the nation, as well as from outside the United States, BHMG surgeons are faculty members at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where they conduct research as well as teach and mentor the next generation of neurosurgeons. Operating expenses and revenue for Neurosurgery during the fiscal year ended September 30, 2025 were $20,430,232 and $10,997,196, respectively. 6. The Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) meet the demands of the changing health care environment and to enhance the level of cardiovascular care provided to the community. The CVI includes approximately almost 60 providers and support staff at three ambulatory care centers and two comprehensive cardiac centers. BHMG's portion of the CVI's program expenses consists primarily of CVI's expanded office-based services. CVI specialists work as a team across all disciplines, combining their expertise to provide an individualized treatment plan for each patient, whether the need is consultative, diagnostic, interventional, surgical, or rehabilitative. Services also include heart failure management, congenital heart disease management, and lipid management, as well as management of hypertension and disease prevention. Operating expenses and revenue for this practice group during the fiscal year ended September 30, 2025 were $22,162,965 and $21,465,357, respectively.
