The foundation was organized in july of 2018 and operated exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, or to carry out the charitable, scientific, and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the irc of 1986, as now in effect or as subsequently amended (the "code) of kentuckyone health, inc and affiliates.the legacy foundation of kentuckiana is aligned to the original mission and purpose of jewish hospital & st. Mary's foundation while growing and adapting in order to meet future healthcare needs within our community. Throughout all of this, we will honor the legacy and intent of all our generous donors.in the past 30 years, the foundation has been at the forefront of life-changing work. Thanks to generous support, we have accomplished a lot in the greater louisville and southern indiana region, including enhanced patient care, cutting edge medical research, education of health professionals, and improved access to health care.
