01What it does

What Ledyard Fair Inc does

Mission

Ledyard Fair, Inc is an all volunteer organization that produces an annual agricultural fair for the town of Ledyard,CT. It is an incorporated organization for the purpose of obtaining liability insurance that covers the town and the Ledyard Board of Education from whom it leases the school and town grounds on which the fair is held. It has no employees. Almost all receipts are obtained from admission fees, crafts and vendor booths rentals and percentage receipts from contracted carnival activities and rides. It occasionally receives contributions from individuals and businesses as reported in part II above. The letter from the IRS granting 501(c)(3) status confirms its qualifications as a publicity support organization as described in section 509(a)(2). PLEASE NOTE: We have closed the business with the State of CT as of 18 Nov 2024. All cash funds have be donated. This will be our last return. I will file the paperwork with the IRS for closurer after this return is excepted.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.
