01What it does

What Lacrosse Illinois NFP does

Mission

To provide youth lacrosse players with the opportunity to participate in a lacrosse experience where they can develop positive self-esteem and build character by learning the virtues of hard work, fair play, respect, honesty, self-control, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Program

On its FY2023 return the organization reported a significant change in how it conducts a program.

The organization ceased operations by the end of 2023. All activity is just wind-down activity.

Its own explanation, from Schedule O of that return (Part III, line 3).

  1. Team Illinois began in 2019 with over 150 youth lacrosse players trying out. Over 100 players were selected to join five teams. These 5 teams competed in national tournaments with other lacrosse programs while developing leaership skills and promoting good sportsmanship among players, coaches, parents, and spectators.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
